Greetings, ye Twat Waffles!
I figure that since I have embarked on my whole new life, it's about time that I start a new blog.
I meant to start this on New Years Day. However, I had this whole new life to start! The reason I can truly experience love -- ya know, the giving-and-taking kind I witness other people experience, selflessness, kindness, concern and prioritized? It's because the man I adore, my new best friend -- well, he arrived in California that day, and needless to say -- I was a bit busy. I have been extremely busy since then.
We, as a couple, have tackled, like, two years worth of dating-drama in six-short-weeks. We've been officially "homeless". We've made long road-trips. We've met each others' children. We are living with each others' children. We've dealt with ridiculous family drama. We've had the flu, each of us, BAAAAD. We've traveled through three states, and thus far "lived in" two. We've nearly avoided a snow-related car accident (he has MAD driving skillz). We've enrolled kids in school. Grocery shopped. Thrift-store shopped. Brought teenagers to the mall. Lived with friends. Made more road trips. Been pulled over. Washed, dried & folded each others' underwear. Shared a toothbrush. Taken "couple photos". Finished a novel, that I read aloud, while he drove. Moved in together. . .
. . . and we have had only one argument.
I KNOW, RIGHT?
And so a new chapter of life: begins. A whole new adventure. . . and I hope you all come along for the ride!
